RC Heritage a collaboré à la mission d'étude confiée à la société PLANETH par le Ministère français des Affaires Étrangères et Européennes.

L'objectif principal du projet « Patrimoine Angkorien et développement durable », financé sur les crédits du fonds de solidarité prioritaire (FSP) pour un montant initial de 2750000 Euros, était le renforcement de l'APSARA, établissement public en charge de la gestion du site d'Angkor, et plus largement des institutions nationales impliquées dans la conservation et la présentation du patrimoine angkorien. Il se décline en trois objectifs secondaires identifiés comme priorités gouvernementales :

1. -l'achèvement de la restauration du Baphuon et son appropriation par APSARA ;
   

2. -le renforcement d’APSARA et les formations à la conservation du patrimoine architectural et archéologique ;
   

3. -le développement du Musée National et le renforcement de l'atelier de restauration.
   

L'évaluation a consisté à réaliser le bilan du projet, répondre à une série de questions-clés, présenter les principales constatations et recommandations.

RC Heritage collaborated with the consultancy firm PLANETH in the evaluation of the international cooperation project « Angkor heritage and sustainable development » for the French Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs (MAEE).

The main goal of the project was the strengthening of the APSARA, the body in charge of the management and preservation of the site of Angkor, and of the ensemble of the national institutions involved in the preservation and presentation of Angkor Heritage. The overall assessment of the project aimed at answering to a pre-defined set of questions, summarizing the main results achieved, and putting forth recommendations.
